Hale University

The premier sport at Hale. The Knights have a devoted campus-wide following and players — especially during season — sit at the top of the social hierarchy. The arena carries energy unlike anywhere else on campus.

Football has historically played second fiddle to basketball at Hale, but that's shifting. The Titans are on a historic run this season and the buzz is growing. Their stock — socially and athletically — has never been higher.

Outside of basketball and football, Hale fields competitive teams in hockey, soccer, baseball, and volleyball. None have the campus-wide following of the Knights or Titans but each has a dedicated fanbase.

The most visible cheer squad on campus. Basketball's massive following means the Knights cheerleaders are well known across campus — not just among sports fans.

The cheer squad for the Titans football team. The Titans' historic run this season has put the Titans cheerleaders in a bigger spotlight than they've ever had.

One of the more quietly successful programs at Hale. Competes at the collegiate level, consistently places at regionals, and has sent several members to national-level meets.

One of the more prestigious extracurriculars on campus with a rigorous tryout and intense rehearsal schedule. Puts on two major productions a year, including a spring performance that draws audiences from outside the university.

The oldest sorority on campus with a strong legacy reputation. President Devika Kumar runs a tight ship and is widely respected across Greek Row. Social Chair Sabrina Mitchell is the one behind the legendary parties — her events have a waitlist.

Genuinely involved on campus with more community presence than the competition. President Mika Aquino is known for being approachable. Social Chair Heather Johnson's events are less polished but more fun, according to most people who've been to both.

The most well-known party frat on campus. Heavy on athletes and known for throwing the biggest parties on Greek Row. Less visible on the philanthropy side, but nobody's going to their events for that.

The oldest frat on campus with an old money reputation. Well-connected alumni network and a certain air of prestige. Still throws good parties but with more of an exclusive feel. Everyone wants to be invited to their formals.

The official student governing body. Oversees club funding, campus policy advocacy, and organizes major campus-wide events. Elections are one of the bigger moments on campus every year — campaigns, endorsements, genuine competition for seats.

One of the more competitive clubs to get into at Hale. Well connected to Hale's strong law school pipeline and hosts regular networking events with alumni who went on to top law schools.

One of the more respected debate programs in the region. Competes nationally and has a reputation for being intense, even by debate standards.

Competes across multiple titles and has a surprisingly large following on campus. One of the fastest growing clubs at Hale.

Puts on two major productions a year. The fall show tends to be more experimental; the spring production is the bigger, more polished show that draws a wider campus audience.

Covers everything from jazz to classical to contemporary. Performs at campus events throughout the year and puts on two formal concerts — December and April.

Puts on one major fashion show a year that has become one of the more anticipated student events on campus. Also runs styling workshops and follows industry trends closely.

The main student publication at Hale. Covers campus news, sports, opinion, and culture. Has a long history at the university and is taken seriously both on and off campus.

Started more recently than the Herald but has built a solid following. Covers campus culture, interviews with students and faculty. Looser and more personality-driven than the Herald.
